Picture Summer Day 6: Wide Open Spaces
Sweeping landscapes can most definitely sweep us off our feet. Allow yourself to muse over one or more noteworthy local vantage points. Perhaps you drive by something every day but never thought to (or took the time to) take a photo. Maybe it’s the view from your upstairs window or a nearby picturesque body of water; it’s no matter. Today seek out a lookout point that offers your spirit room to soar.
This prompt was timed so well with our trip to New Hampshire. Being that it was so hot, 95!, we went to the lake for an evening cool down.
Before I finished reading above, I wondered if this could be our humble Spec Pond, but then I figured you probably wouldn’t get this lovely sunset facing in quite the right direction at Spec. Beautifully done, and so different to see the horizon diagonal like that!
Yeah, not sure that you could get that perspective from Spec but maybe at the pond across Boston Road.
Lovely! I’m a big fan of the tilted horizon. π
This was my first purposefully tilted horizon. I didn’t have to do a ton of editing either.
Awesome! I love the silhouette π
Thanks, April!
