Yankee Candle Excursion

Jar candle bokeh

The kids were off from school today for parent/teacher conferences so we took advantage of the time and took a short trip north to Yankee Candle Company’s flagship store in South Deerfield, MA. It’s so much more than a candle store. Check out the video in my link to see what more they have to offer.

In the Bavarian Village it snows every 4 minutes.

Dreaming of the real thing

Dreaming of the real thing.

Fudge and caramel popcorn, obscene caramel apples, food samples, etc.

Wax hands, jazz hands’ slower cousin.

Be thankful

And, of course, enough candle power to light up New York City.

  1. I want to go there!!!! I already LOVE Yankee Candle, and this store looks like such a great place. I love how you captured it….. and now I have a few months to talk Greg into a vacation up there next summer. Shouldn’t be too hard, since he was already talking about Maine, so what’s a little side trip, right? 😉

  2. Yep. I cried a little. I told you I was gonna! What does “Be Thankful” smell like? And that apple is ridiculous!
